This step involves installing the nylon mattress strap that comes with the Easy DIY Murphy bed kit. This strap is easy to adjust and use because of the adjustable buckle system it comes with.
This is a great way of holding your mattress in place when your wall bed is closed.

You need to measure according to our construction guide and then drill through the mattress supports and bed frame to attach the mattress strap.

You can use 2 pieces of wood left over from your mattress supports or you can also use metal washers with 4 wood screws to attach the mattress strap to the bed frame.
