Hi guys, Just a quick email to say thanks for your hard work putting together these instructions and for the high-quality bed mechanism. I’ve put in about 30 hours of work constructing this to your specification, and we all have to admit it looks great! I’ve attached some photos and a final vid of it being lifted into place and working. So pleased with it guys, one of just a few in the UK I’m sure. A couple of things. We work in millimeters so that would be useful, but our local timber cutting service translated it all for us. Secondly, I think our ‘local’ timber yards are pretty well nonexistent compared to yours. But I found Bookers Timber, Ellesmere Port for us. We can’t just take our bought plywood to be cut where we buy it. They cut x4 pieces at most, so best to source from a local timber cutter and ask them to supply and cut. Our local DIY stores are just not up to the same standard as US stores, but I would recommend phoning around locally and seeing what they can supply and if they can cut. I found one! The rest of it worked fine and sticking to the instructions worked well. I was probably 1-2mm out for some of the measurements, but glad to see the tolerance was acceptable. I went with BB grade Birch plywood here and it looks pretty incredible. To be fair, I had some apprehension when I received your x3 booklets, but going through it stage by stage, and it all worked out perfectly. Thanks again.
