All in all a good product. The guides are in need of some refinement and updating as there was some conflicting illustrations that cause some confusion and placement of the parts.

This was the only way I could get a king-sized murphy bed, so it was great that this existed. The hardware is good, the design is sound, and the final product is great. This being said, a hardware store is unlikely to cut the boards closer than 1/8″ in precision, and this can cause issues. Even the warp and curvature of the large pieces can cause problems that take some shimming and ingenuity to resolve, or which you may not realize until you try to put the whole thing together. I would not recommend this to people who are new to building things themselves.

Great service. Sturdy hardware and well detailed construction guide. Make sure you have a large work area and consider investing in a track saw.

When I was worried about the weight of my queen mattress, they advised me to order the king kit and then sent me a cut list for a queen murphy bed to make it easier for me. They were so helpful and kind.
