I want to freeze finished decorated tortes not to be sold as frozen tortes.. but to be stored them, then I can defrosting them later after two months and before display them in our outside branches.

So far we haven’t tried to freeze the finished decorated tortes… because we know very well ( the taste of fruits, cream, chocolate and other ingredients ) will be negatively affected after the defrosted process.

The Question : can I freeze tortes then defrosting them before display ?? with keep the high quality and good taste

Yes you can let it thaw on the counter. I’ve been known to microwave it too 🙂

Just made your buttermilk pie and plan on slicing and freezing. Reading through your tips, do I just place a slice on the counter and let it defrost? Thank you so much. Love your site!

We bake quite a lot for the holidays and now being able to freeze them either ahead or after is such a great help! Also, both being diabetic, we don’t have to try to eat the left over treats at one time!

If so, how? Thank you for this article—now I know I need a freezer just for desserts😉
